Dad's Wood Shop

Shop Projects

I am very intrigued by the concept of time. God is outside of time, and we are constrained by time. We can’t fathom what it will be like to be released from ‘time’. The clock below was one of my first successful clocks. It is powered by a motor and the gears work out to 710:1. It is currently hanging in my office downtown Murfreesboro. The timering is about 30″

The clock below is a smaller clock. I believe the timering is about 18″ in diameter.

The clock below is a simple battery operated clock made from some scrap live-edge oak I had in the shop.

Square gears are cool… Below is a clock we incorporated some square gears.

Below is a Sun Dial I made that is about 7′ tall. Did you know God made the sun stand still AND at another time made the Sun’s shadow move BACKWARDS?

I built this wall clock about 30 years ago.

This is a prototype for some gears I’m thinking about incorporating into a clock.
